Your Prestige Sandstone will be delivered on an 18/26 tonne HGV (with tail lift).

Sufficient access to deliver and space to turn around is required.

We use a 3rd party nationwide pallet distribution service for our deliveries. Whilst we endeavour to make your delivery on the day specified, it is not possible to guarantee. Any delays in delivery, Prestige Sandstone do not accept liability.

Prestige Sandstone advise on not booking any work in until our stone has arrived to you and accept no responsibility should you choose to do this.

Deliveries are made to kerbside only, however the drivers will usually attempt to place on the driveway (only with your permission and if possible).

Deliveries cannot be made onto a slope. A solid, concrete or tarmac flat surface for the offload is required. The area needs to be wide enough for the HGV and obstacle free from trees, fences, lampposts etc. If the stone getting delivered is likely to cause an obstruction, you will need to ensure that you have the capability to move it the same day.

You must ensure that somebody is available to sign for delivery and the delivery conditions mentioned above are met. In the event the delivery cannot be made due to any of these circumstances a re-delivery charge per crate will be incurred (as previously quoted).

Every effort is made to get the stone to you in perfect condition. We take extra steps to ensure this, however with it being a natural product sometimes breakages can happen during transit and therefore please allow up to 10% of breakage when working out your quantities. 15% for Rainbow due to it’s fragility.

*Unpacking of your stone*

The stone is accessible from the top of the crate (as pictured). Please take out the sandstone equally either side of the crate, angling the stone. This will avoid the crate tipping due to inbalance. Please take care when unpacking.

Please ensure you inspect the products for any damages thoroughly before signing for them during delivery. If you can see some of the delivery has arrived damaged, we ask you to sign for it as “damaged” on arrival. See Returns Information for more details about damaged products.
