Returns / Damaged Goods

Our returns policy is in addition to your legal rights.

Products Delivered

​

If you wish to cancel your order for any reason before delivery or within 14 days after delivery of the product, you must inform us by email or letter of your intentions.

​

The following conditions apply:

​

  • Any Products returned to us must be unused, as new and as sold, in resalable condition and returned in the original product packaging. We understand that the top protective plastic may have been removed in some circumstances. Please note only full packs can be returned.

​

  • You will be responsible to pay for the delivery charges to return the goods to us and a re-stocking fee of £99 per crate will apply.

​

  • Damaged goods must be photographed prior to return (2 full pictures per paving stone, front and back) and must match the photos taken.  When they arrive back to us we will document the opening of the returned goods to the pictures provided. Any paving that doesn’t support the pictures / or has more damage than original photo i.e. broken in two without a supporting picture will not be subject to refund only the amount that was agreed to be returned can be refunded. Any extra paving stones returned without our consent will be classed as a failure to notify, and will not be refunded, in cases like this we ask for you to either pick up from our yard or arrange delivery back to yourselves at your cost. â€‹

  • Full packs must be securely packaged in the same way they were delivered. This for the safety of transportation a photograph will need to be taken beforehand to review if acceptable.

  • Refunds will be minus the delivery and re-stocking costs/spillage rate.  Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the receipt of the returned goods.

  • You can not cancel your order if goods have been custom made to your requirements (i.e. split packs)

Damaged Goods

​

Every effort is made to get the stone to you in perfect condition.  We take extra steps to ensure this,  however with it being a natural product sometimes breakages can happen during transit and therefore please allow up to 10% of breakage when working out your quantities. 15% for Rainbow due to its fragility, although this stone can still be used for cuts.  We will only accept breakages above this rate and will offer a refund in accordance.

 

Calibrated paving is the average per pack as specified on invoice (i.e. 20/22).  Allow for tolerances of +6mm/-6mm.  Some sawn paving may have some slight curvature this is because the blade can sometimes bow in the cutting process, also sawn paving may have tiny superficial chips to the edges from the cutting and delivery process.  These are still usable and within the specified tolerance.

Please ensure you inspect the products for any damages thoroughly before signing for them during delivery. If you can see some of the delivery has arrived damaged, we ask you to sign for it as "damaged" on arrival.

You must then also notify immediately sending photographs and we can then make the necessary arrangements.

Only full packs can be exchanged so do not use any of the paving stones out of the pack as you may lose your right for an exchange or refund.

It is your responsibility to return the damaged/unused paving stones back to us at your cost, in order for us to either process a refund or make arrangements for replacements.  The paving stones must not be laid, as damages cannot be rectified if you have already started laying your patio and unpacked the goods, as chips and breakages can occur whilst unpacking.

We will not exchange/replace/refunds for breakages/chips/damages/discolouration up to 10% (15% for Rainbow) as this is considered “spillage” with stone, so make sure you over order a sufficient amount to allow for breakages and this type of wastage.  For small singular split pack bespoke orders, we can refund on anything over the spillage rate but unfortunately will not be able to send replacements.

Natural Sandstone comes with unique flecks, natural veinings and speckling, hairline cracks, distinct mineral markings which occurs in a natural product and these will not be considered unusable.  All photos are for illustration purposes only as colours and tones will vary.

All our coverage details are based on a standard 10/15mm joint.

​

We do not accept returns where you have excess stone, disposal of any items is your responsibility.

​

In some circumstances and as a gesture to save you the trouble of having to find a courier, we may arrange for the goods to be collected and returned back to us on an economy delivery service this does not however remove your liability for the return costs to us.

​

We are only able to liase with the person the purchased the goods.  Sometimes we may ask for you to verify the cardholders name and address to confirm this.  We will not deal with any other person other than the cardholder.
